When I was in college, the fire alarms went off at least twice a week because our stove and oven let off smoke the second they were turned on. Because of this, I’ve noticed that I have a strange lack of any feeling of danger when I hear alarms now, and would much rather just turn the television up louder and throw things at the ceiling than run for cover
Real men also sing sheep opera renditions of Bella Notte in the kitchen! It is here that I should thank my mother for teaching me how to cook real food, or else I’d still be stuck eating Lean Cuisine for every dinner
You should subscribe to my random vlogs on YouTube, because then you’ll get them faster before I post them here, and you can yell FIRST! in the comments like all the cool kidz do.

Wowsa, it’s been forever since I’ve updated here! As some of you know, I’ve been really busy with my move to California, and for the past week I’ve been reduced to an iPhone and a tiny netbook to stay connected. My moving truck was three days late, so I’ve been sleeping on the floor of my new apartment — but now, everything is moved in, and I’ll be back to blogging as usual very soon!
Driving Through California!
Even though there’s just under a week until Bran Hambric: The Farfield Curse is supposed to be in stores on 9/9/09, some bookstores have put the book out early! I’ve been keeping up with it all on Twitter — thanks to everyone who’s been sending me photos of the book in stores and videos of it arriving via mail! I’ll have more soon on all the wonderful videos and photos I’ve been getting
