A few weeks ago, I took a trip to Montreal and visited the Biodome, which is Canadian for “Giant Indoor Zoo”. To no one’s surprise, there were lots of penguins.

My dream of coming within 6 inches of a real live puffin finally came true. Unfortunately, somewhere in those six inches was a thick wall of glass.

Stephenie Meyer’s “The Host” movie gets a new director and only sells 2 million+ copies! It also only debuted at #1 and only spent 26 weeks on the bestseller lists (a mere half-year!). Such a ‘lackluster franchise’.

Sometimes, I dream to reach such failery. In fact, I think most authors do.

(I intentionally didn’t link the article I’m referencing, because entertainment blogs write this stuff so people like me will link to them / send them hits and ad views. But you can find it with some creative Googling)

Hey Hunger Games fans! Mockingjay.net and I have teamed up to make a new webshow dedicated to Hunger Games news called the MOCKINGJAY MINUTE.

I’ll be posting these shows on Mockingjay.net and on my Youtube channel any time there is a big update in the Hunger Games fandom. The videos will be in the same 1-minute format as the 60SR show, but dedicated entirely to The Hunger Games!

If you’re a subscriber of my Youtube channel, then you’ve likely already noticed that I started a new show!

The 60SR is a new webshow featuring top entertainment stories told in 60 seconds or less. The show covers popular news and viral videos, as well as fandom updates for The Hunger Games, Twilight, Harry Potter, and more.

In 2010, the second video in the series (Robert Pattinson In Spiderman 4) virally reached over 600,000+ views (!!!) even though it was much shorter (how could I survive only talking for 40 seconds back then?). The other videos have been some of my most responded to date. Due to the success of the show so far, I’ve decided to try these shows as a regularly scheduled feature on my channel.

The plan is to make a new show every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (if writing deadlines get in the way, I’ll switch to Tuesday/Thursday). These will be in addition to my regular music videos/vlogs on Saturdays/Sundays, and any breaking news updates. It’s the same type of vlogs I’ve been doing for years, organized in a sharper format. The 60SR is the 60 Second Rant, or the 60 Second Review, or the 60 Second Recap… all in one!
