My dad’s birthday was last week. I’ve been planning this gift for years but it wasn’t until now that I actually had a chance to make it happen. I don’t have my real copies of the second book yet, but luckily I had a spare ARC to get it sent in time.
I remember the first time I actually ventured out to do something creative. It was when I was about 13 and wanted to fill a radio DJ spot at a local station. Strangely enough, my dad said yes, I auditioned and got the show, and every other Saturday morning — even through the worst winter we’d ever seen in Austin, Texas — he would get up at 6 AM to drive me over an hour to the studio. Austin can get REALLY cold at times. That’s dedication.
My dad really pushed me to keep writing and was a giant influence in what the Bran Hambric story would become. For all the people who like the funny stuff in my writing: all that came from my dad.
(Except Sewey’s crazy driving: that was all my mom )

I just posted all my photos from Vidcon 2010 onto my Facebook page! The weekend was crazy amazing. I have video of it all but as it’s late and I’m very sleepy, I’ll edit it tomorrow.

Just got sent this from @KrisbianH on Twitter from UK magazine Teen Now.
It’s funny seeing both pictures in a real magazine. The one of me with the book was actually taken as a joke a few months before I even started TwilightGuy.com, and I just decided to use it on the site. It was taken with my tiny, cheap Kodak easy camera, and has been popping up in magazines all over the world for the past two years (it’s probably the cheapest photo to ever be in a real magazine!). And the other one on the left is my new author photo
