I hate to say that I was very disappointed that you even LIKED Eclipse! It was horrible! I can't even believe that the movies have actually stopped my interest in the series what-so-ever---which is sad because I was on board with the series before it took fire.

Personally I feel that Dakota Fanning should be--and probably is---embarressed by her acting. I have always disliked Kristen Stewart for Bella. She brings down all of the movies which is a downer considering she has not one but TWO great male actors to work with (and even their skills can't save the movie from her "acting")

I felt horrible that the audience in the movie theatre LAUGHED at things that weren't even supposed to be funny (and I am more ashamed to say that I was the one who usually started laughing)! It's pathetic! I am over the awesome reviews for a horrible movie. Give the books good ratings! In the end it is best to just forget that the movies even happened...

I agree with Sarahbellum297 in almost everything except that the move deserved a D+ at best. I enjoyed the werewolves and the Cullen family. The flashbacks were the best parts. In the end I think it is a horrible combination of screenwriter, bad casting, and director.

I really loved Eclipse! I think it was the best adaptation of the three, and a superior movie to the other two! I loved every minute of it. Yeah, some things were cut but that's to be expected. The important thing is that they stayed true to the core of the plot and the nature of the characters, and they did that and did it well!

Ello Kaleb! Just wanted to add my review as well!
Eclipse was definitely my favorite book out of all three. Being so into the book with every detail, comparing the both was a disappointment. Obviously you can't put each detail into a movie or it will be over 10 hrs long. Even with the 2 hrs it was given, many of the most vital details were missed as well as being true to the character. Not only this, but everything was way to rushed.
One of the MOST important lines out of the book was left out."The clouds I can handle, But I can't fight with an eclipse." THATS ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS THIS STORY HAS THE NAME.."ECLIPSE". Also, they didn't really stick to the character of Bella. Her emotion towards of a lot of the scenes came of as if she didn't care, when in the book it takes a chapter or two for her to really understand and/or get over it.
In the end I'd give Eclipse a C+/ B-. Although many part of the story were left out, It gave a gist of the main point of the story. Also, the fight scenes seemed very accurate to the books interpretation. I feel the movies would improve a great deal if they changed screen writers. Melissa Rosenberg really neglected main points in each of the movies. If they were to replace writers for each film, it would give the Twilight series a new fresh approach towards the original story!
