Chilla And Me

Last photo of Chilla for a while. She was jumping all around tonight and is finally getting comfortable around me. She doesn’t like her raspberry treats for some reason, but loves the Timothy Hay. Unfortunately, my eyes do not. My hay allergy obviously applies to chinchilla hay

She sleeps most of the day in her house, as chinchillas are nocturnal, so this evening I let her run around my apartment. When she’s particularly bouncy, she’ll stand up like a kangaroo and look around. Under the couch is one of her favorite places to hide.
