Another random vlog from sunny southern California! I totally wish I could do a daily vlog like Shaycarl or Charles Trippy. Probably can’t do that QUITE yet, but I’ll be stepping up on the vlogging now that I’m back from the book tour!

Owl City is AWESOME in concert! The whole show was amazing and he’s such a great performer. And, yet another reason to love my iPhone: during the show, I was able to record quick video snippets of the concert and upload them straight to Twitter for everyone who couldn’t make it, as if they were right there! Okay, maybe this has more to do with my Twitter addiction than my iPhone…
Check out Owl City on iTunes and also see if he’s coming to a city near you. It’s definitely a show to go see.

Where The Wild Things Are was awesome! I loved the movie and hopefully I’ll get to see it again sometime.
They were giving out little Wild Things posters at the theater, and if you want a chance to win one, leave a comment on the video!

Check out the awesome book trailer for James Dashner’s new novel THE MAZE RUNNER! It’s one of the most professional book trailers I’ve ever seen — it’s almost like a real movie! I am a huge fan of James’ books in The Thirteenth Reality series, so you should certainly check out The Maze Runner in stores now

Something that few people know about me is that I sometimes enjoy drawing. Mostly, my drawings are so horrendously amateur that the only people I trust to look at them are good friends or understanding girlfriends who don’t mind getting hearts and ghosts on their Facebook wall (even if said ghosts sometimes look like something else entirely). I usually do my drawings on paper first, and then transfer them to my computer to edit and colorize them. But I’m trying to learn how to do sketches directly on the computer, and so I’ve been drawing more little emo ghosts:

Sometimes putting your heart back together is the hardest part

People asked for me to draw something happier. Here's to you, happy people
Though I usually draw on paper first, then scan them into the computer, the two drawings above (my most recent) were made directly on the computer, and thus are of a less quality, almost cartoon-like. I draw and color them using Photoshop in multiple layers:

As I make pictures, I post them to my Twitter, so if you want more you should follow me.
Question for the comments: Which one is your favorite, sad ghost or happy ghost?
