Drawing Little Emo Ghosts

Something that few people know about me is that I sometimes enjoy drawing. Mostly, my drawings are so horrendously amateur that the only people I trust to look at them are good friends or understanding girlfriends who don’t mind getting hearts and ghosts on their Facebook wall (even if said ghosts sometimes look like something else entirely). I usually do my drawings on paper first, and then transfer them to my computer to edit and colorize them. But I’m trying to learn how to do sketches directly on the computer, and so I’ve been drawing more little emo ghosts:

Though I usually draw on paper first, then scan them into the computer, the two drawings above (my most recent) were made directly on the computer, and thus are of a less quality, almost cartoon-like. I draw and color them using Photoshop in multiple layers:
