The Bran Hambric: The Farfield Curse book tour has officially begun! Actually, it started on September 16 (also my 21st birthday) but my first away-from-home event is Tuesday, September 22, in San Jose, California. I’m flying around continually until October 5 — which means I’ll get to meet a lot of you, but my posts here will be much less in the coming 3 weeks.

One of the cool things my publishers have done for the tour is make some AWESOME printable posters for each event! I’d love it if BranFans who live close to these events would print some out and post some around their school and community to help spread the word . You can find the posters on this page and print some out for yourself too!

If you want to keep up with me during the tour, I will be updating with photos and video via Twitter (thanks to my new iPhone). To see if I’ll be in your area, check out the tour calendar. I hope to meet lots of you in the coming weeks!

I just got word from my publishers that Bran Hambric: The Farfield Curse debuted on the Mountains & Plains Independent Booksellers bestseller list! The indie list is one of the largest in the country, and includes stores like Book People, Changing Hands, King’s English and lots more all across the country.

This amazing bestseller debut is almost entirely due to word-of-mouth and online bloggers — and all the amazing BranFans who keep posting videos, mentioning the book on Twitter and telling their friends! It’s the first week out, and this is just the beginning!

I want to give a huge thanks to all the wonderful bloggers and people who have helped spread the word. If we keep it up we can make it a national bestseller!

Check out the new song from the amazing SUSAN BOYLE, who was a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent. Susan continues to amaze the world after that stunning performance of “I Dreamed A Dream” on TV a few months ago. I’m usually not so big a fan of the sweeping pop piano songs, but I’m loving Susan Boyle’s voice on this one! You can pre-order her upcoming album “I Dreamed A Dream” on Amazon right now.
