“Bran Hambric: The Farfield Curse” To Be In Brazil

August 4th, 2009 at 4:49 pm by --KALEB NATION--

book-imageI’m very excited to announce that BRAN HAMBRIC: THE FARFIELD CURSE, the first novel in my Bran Hambric series, will now be published in the Portuguese language in Brazil. The publisher will be Panini Brazil. I’d like to give more information about the publisher, but unfortunately I don’t speak Portuguese, so I can’t even tell if this is their official website or not!

I am extremely happy about this news, of course, which means that as of now Bran Hambric will be available in the US, UK, Canada, Russia, and now Brazil, among other countries which import. It’s always good news when another country picks it up!

If you need to find which store in your country will carry the book or has it open for preorder, visit BranHambric.com. Only 35 days left until the book is finally in stores!

Do you know if it's going to be published in Portugal? I really would like that, but I think I'll read the american version.

    Kaleb,
I hope you never change. I like how down to earth you are right now. I love that video you posted about what you would do as a famous author. I hope through the years, as you continue to get publicity, that you are still like the guy when your book was in the works and not many people knew your name.
I saw a guy that was religious as he started a TV show and now he is turning against his morals and doing things he was once against, for religious reasons. It gives me a sick feeling. Please don't be like that. We all love the down to earth, Kaleb Nation.
P.S. Love the name, tell your Parent's they did a good job.
P.S. Again, Show that forehead, I feel like you are Wilson from Home Improvement, haha, especially with the books covering your mouth. I think you would look great with short spikey hair!

Yay for you! So, do you get a call from your publisher about these things, or an e-mail, or do you just google your book and see where it pops up next? How much information do you find out on your own, or from your fans, and how much does your agent/editor/publisher tell you?

AWESOME. I'm Brazilian, and yes, that is their website. But to this day I thought they only published comics, go figure!

Even though, I'll probably buy the american version. I don't really like to read translated books, which means I get weird looks on the bus and such when people see me reading "Breaking Dawn" instead of "Amanhecer", for example. And don't even get me started when they notice me reading something that hasn't been released here yet.

Omg, I'm totally like you. I also read the books in the american version. LOL

I believe that is the website Kaleb :) (being Portuguese, I can help you on that xD)

Do you know if it will get published in Portugal? Because even if the language is portuguese, the portuguese from brazil and the one from portugal are quite diferent between them.
