Tim Burton’s “Alice In Wonderland” TRAILER

Oh Em Gee, this movie comes out on my 21st birthday! So, in which order should I do this? Go see it and then get started on the drinking, or drink first then see it? lol

Whoa! Thats pretty awesome! But how much of the story will they keep in the movie?? From his other films, he puts on some pretty big twists on every story line that he creates...hmm.

Ummm... Did Alice shrink outta her clothes? Not that I am objecting. I think this looks Frakkin' amazing. I NEED IT NOW!!! Sweet Christ I am loveing that there seems to be regular stuff from the original, but newer cooler stuff like Helena's Red Queen Head being the size of Africa. Maybe that's why she wan't everyone elses off? Because hers is too big? Lol...
Also, I may be slightly behind in all this Alice stuff because I have been living inside my Word Processor writing for the past ever... but this seems like it will focuc more of Mad Hattie?

For the record, the Red Queen is not the 'off with her head queen.' At least, she's not that character in Through The Looking Glass. Either you're incorrect, or Tim Burton is just confirming my fears about this film and combining two very different characters from two very different stories.

As for the trailer, I'm really not impressed. It looks exactly how I expected it would. Burton has become so mind numbingly predictable, as is Depp. His once valued reputation as a versatile and experimental actor is slipping further and further away with every bland gothic role Burton throws at him.

I want to be surprised. I want to be entertained. But once again, Burton proves that all he knows how to do is adapt someone elses story and throw a blue lense over it. Dull, dull, dull.

As the IGN video wasn't working for me, either, I desperately resorted to YouTube. The quality's not the best, but it's there, and it's not someone filming their computer screen, which is always a plus. Though YouTube is doing site maintenance at the moment, so if things start freaking out on you, that's probably why.

This looks amazing :D I love all of tim burtons movies. He is so talented!! Plus he always uses two of my favorite actors: Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. Depp is so diverse he could've played alice is he put his mind to it. And Helena Bonham Carter is THE PERFECT woman to play the queen. Actually, when i saw the movie "Alice" (another alice in wonderland movie with real people) i thought she would've been the appropriae choice for the queen! yay! cant wait to see it :)

Honestly, I've been just as excited for this as I have been for New Moon :D

Hmmm... It looks like it will be pretty interesting. It's pretty hard to imagine Alice in Wonderland as a live action film. I can't believe how early they're releasing trailers these days. By the time the movie opens, I've forgotten what most movies are about. LoL

Alice in Wonderland has been made in live action before. In 1999 with Tina Majorino (you probably know her as Deb from Napoleon Dynamite) as Alice.

The story itself is not dark, as an Alice fan from the original books, I'm happy he went with just being odd and eerie rather than dark. I know all the goth kids and hot topic regulars will be upset, but it's better this way. Trust me.

I'm also a fan of the books. And I know the book itself isn't dark; it's a children's book. But that is the problem, as it's known for being a children's book, parents will allow their kid's to see it. And Burton obviously knows this, so he has to hold back on the darkness - which is a shame, because if this book was never originaly credited as a child-friendly book, then Tim would have had a fantasic job letting his imagination twist the story into something terribly dark. But, alas, he has set his mind to fix this movie into a only-very-slightly-dark viewing experience for all of those who see it.
As for "goth kids and Hot Topic regulars", I couldn't really care FOR them, because I have no interest IN them, as I am only a pure Tim Burton fangirl.
But maybe I've just had a bit too much of American McGee's Alice, hmm?
