Owl City Has Free Fireflies!

I’m a huge Owl City fan (as is obvious from a ton of my recent videos!). His new album called Ocean Eyes is easily one of my favorites, and it’s great for almost anything: exercising, going outside, trying to fall asleep, etc. It’s a good bit of happy music that’s somehow not too sweet, even for someone like me who usually likes Anberlin and Shiny Toy Guns (my other two favorite bands!). This week only, you can actually download his new song “Fireflies” for free from iTunes (hear a preview of it in my video above).
Unlike must artists who would get that sickening, cotton-candy sound, Owl City can somehow even write an entire song about going to the dentist and actually make it fun to listen to. My favorite song from the new album (not including The Saltwater Room which was previously released) is If My Heart Was A House:
