My Trip To Forks, Washington!

I just got back from Summer School In Forks, a huge symposium dedicated to Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga. I was a keynote speaker of the convention, giving a speech about the appeal of Twilight and why those books are so amazingly popular right now!

While I was there, I got to hang around and meet lots of great people, and later drive around with Lori and Laura from the Twilight Lexicon and see all the Twilight-inspired places in the city! Unfortunately for me, about half of my video footage was CORRUPTED. In fact, as I was editing my video files, clips that were fine actually corrupted themselves for no reason at all. Luckily, I salvaged what is in the video above — and was able to get all of these awesome photos of La Push and places all around Forks: (click here to view the photos!)

    It was a magical experience for all of us who attended. We had the opportunity to experience many literary opinions and theories as well as have a great time. The people of Forks, WA are wonderful and very accommodating to Twilight fans. Kaleb managed to capture the essence of the symposium...thanks for the great job!

    I ADORE that note from Forks' real-life Esme. It's so awesome how Forks has really embraced this book and this storyline.

    I would like to thank you for giving me a glimpse of what Forks and la Push look like CUZ i am a HUGE twilight fan!!! It is really awsome how they have stuff like Bellas truck, and a reserved parking spot for Dr. Cullen, and a note from the lady who played Esme. I love the video of the Quilette tribe and they traditional music. I am part Indian and I love how they still have there traditions along with all whats going on in the world. I adore that. I also loved the look of the beach. Again Thank-you and I hope in the future I will be able to visit Forks and La Puch and get to see it with my own eyes.

    the video and the pictures, are great, it would be a dream come true to get to go to forks washington, man it would seam so real, i dont even know how to truly discribe, the feeling if i was to be able to go, lol, great pics.

    i ge to go to forks for my 13th bday with me an friends im sooo happy and im going there for free because my friend used to live a street down from me moved to forks washigton cuz her dads job went there (what a coincidence) like 4 months befre they filmed twilight, she told me that she has never seen forks so busy!! she says tourist would go to the school during school hours and the police would have to make them leave(: i thought that was funny im going t ge pics so im going to be a complete twilight fan WOO HOO
