Pre-orders for ‘The Farfield Curse’ Have Officially Begun

April 21st, 2009 at 4:17 pm by --KALEB NATION--

People. Seriously. You are too good to me.

I don’t know what kind soul was linking to the Amazon listing, but I’m told it went all the way past #5000, which is unheardof for an unknown, gnat-sized writer such as myself. Most of my friends tell me they started out in the 1 millions. This is entirely thanks to you devoted people who actually found it and started ordering before I even had the chance to pass it around! So thank you for kicking this off so perfectly — it gives me the confidence I really need as we get into the hard work of promoting it :)

If you’d like to pre-order, head on over to BranHambric.com/buy (Borders, B&N and others will be forthcoming as soon as they have it on their sites). As I said in the video, how can you possibly buy a book without sampling it first? So check out the preview chapters if you haven’t already. And, my sincere thanks to everyone who invests in my dreams early on :)

  • Kaleb, has anyone ever told you that you look like Colton James. I was watching this show called Cupid that I had put on my DVR and this young man was on it and he reminded me of you.

That's incredible! Congratulations, Kaleb! I will without a doubt be preordering when it goes on the B/N site. You're so close! Thanks for letting us follow along as you go through the process. I'm learning a lot about something I hope to do in a few years, and it's really helping my friend along. I'll probably have to send out another letter soon asking what to do next though!

    Again, congratulations! I can't wait!

Congrats, I will preorder if I can! Next September will be great, barring school. Bran Hambric and the next Dan Brown novel in the same month? I'll actually be looking foward to the fall, which I don't think has ever happened.

I agree with Emily, you should do a signing in the Pennsylvania/NJ area. I'd definitely be able to make it to a Philadelphia signing. Seems like most signings are far away, like in Phoenix.

Hey Kaleb, I have a question. When I pre-ordered the book on Amazon, it said "Estimated delivery date for this item: October 6, 2009." Any idea why that might have happened?

I'm so excited for your book, though. Any chance you can do a signing in Northeastern PA? No one ever comes here...

I am so excited for you! It's not even out yet, and already it's doing so incredibly well!!! But, I always knew it'd do well, so I'm not at all surprised! :D
