The First Piece Has Been Revealed

I love the cover.
Reminds me of Harry Potter, like most of us. :D
I wanna see the whole cover... and Bran's face.

So that's Bran in front of the building where he was with the banker watching the burglar, right? And he's holding the crescent necklace while running from the burglar (or I think that's Shambles). The light beams are from the banker's car. That's how I interpret the cover.

Wow... I haven't read the preview chapters in months but I still remember what happened! I'll totally buy the book when it comes out. And if you release a book soundtrack on CD, I'll buy it, too.

Very reminiscent of early Harry Potter covers. Appropriate for all the mystery, magic, and such. It looks like it might just be made of awesome. Can't wait to read it!

Wow! It looks amazing. I want to see the whole thing! It looks like Bran is falling down. Like as if he was running and trying to look behind him, and then he fell. I can't wait for the rest.

It`s great I can`t wait to readthe book. I wish it would be translated in other languages as far as possible.

I really liked the cover so far! I bet it's Bran, and it looks like he's magically skating, with the awesome moon necklace in his hands. It's nighttime, I think, and it must be because Dunce outlaws magic and magical creatures. So, he doesn't want to get caught.

I'm so excited for the rest of the cover! The half of it we can see looks pretty cool. And I've noticed the crescent necklace popping up a few times, and I'm guessing that it is probably important...but I'm not sure why. And is your blogtv going to be in the afternoon, or laterish (making up words!)?

It look wonderful so far, can't wait to see it whole. The details and the atmosphere are quite capturing.
And I just can't wait to get the book to my hand. Though the shipping is gonna cost me a fortune. But who cares. It's THE BOOK. And I'm looking forward to read it.

Ooooh. I see how Bran is holding the necklace that you used for your faux cover art. I can't remember if the necklace was in your preview chapters (haven't read them in a while), but that must be important. And wow. The cover art has so much detail. Like, I'm looking at Bran's shoes and wow. So much detail.

This book is coming together so nicely! I remember way back when you first signed the book deal. Now we have (half of a) cover! September is coming up so soon!

The necklace isn't in the preview chapters, but it does look EXACTLY the way I picture it! Brandon Dorman did a wonderful job with this one.

I have the preview chapters, but I haven't read them yet, because I really would rather just sink in my comfy chair with the book when it comes out. Anticipation... it can kill. But anyway, what do I think ?

That's Bran in front of the warehouse, I think. Bran holding a crescent necklace. The same crescent that has been a teaser for the book all along. The crescent necklace is important.

There is also a hooded man in a trench coat. If it's part of the opening sequence, it could be the banker or the burglar. I would say burglar by the way he is dressed. So is Bran chasing him or running from him ? For the moment I would say running and that would make sense if it's the burglar that is after him.

The burglar is walking towards two lights. Car headlights ? Is he it his car ? Is he there alone or has someone in the car already spotted Bran ?

Nice tantalising piece of artwork, Kaleb. I can't wait to see the whole thing and place it in context when I read the book. Good job !
