Hmm, I really enjoy fantasy fiction/sci fi. Nothing nonfiction. Those just bore me to death. I want to get away from this world, not read about it.

WOW!!! I'm sooo excited for you, Kaleb! I can't wait for the cover! Do you know the exact date it'll be on the website?
    Again, Congrats!
  • Stephanie
I've commented already, but I LOVE THE NEW LAYOUT! =] Professional picture. lol =]

Oh, I also wanted to say that my favorite teacher EVER has started a group after school for young writers. We are learning how to put our packages together, find agents, how to get published, etc. We've had one meeting, and I've already learned stuff. I hope you're not embarrassed, but we talk about you and your writing! =] My teacher also wrote "Battlelines" with her father, so I trust her. =]

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that you're an influence to our little group.
  • My favourite books are urban fantasy (as coined by someone). So Twilight, City of Bones, Marked, etc. In my "youth" I love Stephen King and Dean Koontz. I was a twisted child. And my guilty pleasure is Nore Roberts. Sigh, did I just admit that???

Well similar to what everyone else said. I love Romance, Fantasy and Comedy books and a blend of them is what I usually like, like the Twilight Series. lol.
I'm excited to hear about the cover. That will be interesting......
  • Omg!!! Kaleb that is so awesome. I wish you the best of luck. Many great reviews cant wait till it comes out so i can read it.

Omg!!! I can't wait to see the cover! I read Savvy just because it had the same cover artist as you! I loved your preview chapters and can't wait to read the whole thing!

    CONGRATS!

That's so awesome, Kaleb! Getting closer and closer! I can't wait to be able to read the whole thing!

I've really only ever put down one or two books without reading them all, and those were only because I just couldn't get into them. I like everything, though - fantasy, mainly, some historical fiction and romance, just now branching into so mystery stuff. All time favorites are Harry Potter, Twilight, and Eragon.

    Congratulations on the galleys, Kaleb!
  • Kate :]
Gosh, im so jealous of those people who get to read your book before me!! lol I pretty much like all books, but fantasies of course, classics, and just idk, good ones!
  • Chloe
I like reading fantasy best, for sure :D Twilight, Harry Potter, etc. I also like general YA and some historical fiction, like The Luxe.

    FANTASY!!
Well-written books, like Twilight and the Percy Jackson books and Ella Enchanted. I like when the magic has boundaries, understandable limitations.
I like a lot of clean humor. I like light reads and heavy read, but I go back and forth because too much of one is, too much (go from Spiderwick to Inkheart to Hank the Cowdog to Ender's Game to Hat Full of Sky).
Mysteries, too, like Malcolm Rose and Sigmund Brouwer.
I like long books with short chapters. Sure Mars Diaries series is great, but the books are a little short, so at least there are ten. And Eragon is good, but its chapters are often longer than twenty pages.
    SO.
Congratulations! Looks great! And, the book is definitely shorter than it was BEFORE all the editing. Hopefully this is a good thing. When do we find out if Bran Habric: The Farfield Curse comes out on 9-9-09 or not?

I love fantasy! I like comedy and romance and fantasy, especially all blended together. That's why Harry Potter, Twilight, His Dark Materials, the Uglies trilogy, Cliver Barker's Abarat are my favorites. :D

I've read the first four chapters of your book, and I'm really looking forward to all the magic and gnomes!
  • Stephanie
Yay! I've been waiting for the cover!
  • Yay for book-publishing progress!
