James Blunt – Carry You Home

It is no secret – I am not a very big fan of James Blunt. I have never understood the national obsession with him, even when he was at his peak of popularity and played on radio at what seemed like impossible frequency. It just never clicked with me, and most of the time just felt melodramatic.

However, the latest from him, called Carry You Home, is a bit different, and I actually like it in some ways.

It’s smooth, it’s soft, it has the electronic effects mixed with the pop music. It’s still him, but finally he has a song that I can listen to and partially enjoy. To put it Bluntly, it’s a partially-good track, and even without ever seeing the show, I’m almost certain any fans of House will enjoy the song.
