The D.E.Y – She Said

I actually don’t listen to that much hip-hop, but there is a certain sub-genre to it that I actually enjoy. I’m not sure what it’s called, but it encompasses little bits of Nelly’s old album, some Usher, that song by The Game and even a bit of Alicia Keys. Yahoo.com calls the type of music ‘Quiet Storm’ under their urban section.

This new one from The D.E.Y called She Said has those soft guitars and a beat that reminds me a little of the older stuff from Ashanti. It’s a nice, quiet urban track for winding down at the end of the d.e.y.
