What’s In A Writer’s Bag? Video

As a writer, every time I leave my apartment I always bring along my trusty backpack. I have noticed that the bag carries more things attributed to writing than anything else: notebooks, paper, pencils, pens, etc. For some reason, I always have to carry both my newest writing notebook and the one immediately before it, in case I need to look something up. And on days where writing will need particularly deep fact-checking, I also have two gigantic, 11 x 14 inch plotting notebooks (those are some huge pages, people).
Thus, my backpack basically contains my mobile life. I will be meeting with my publishers sometime, and I realized with shock that I certainly could not walk into their office with my old backpack. This was a very meaningful realization, as it means the start of changes from me as a Writer into me as an Author. So I ordered a brand new laptop bag with room for files and papers, and it’s so snappy it nearly spells bestseller in black leather.
Still, when going to the cafe, I use my backpack. And this video is of a few of the curious things to be found in it.
