Chris Brown – Forever

I don’t enjoy Chris Brown much. Say Goodbye was only slightly listenable. I didn’t particularly enjoy No Air either (especially after hearing it 1,923,496 times on the radio). His music usually reeks of mediocre, so you can imagine my surprise when he puts out a song I can listen to (With You) and THEN a song I actually like.

With the song Forever, Chris Brown has graduated from meaningless, hit-of-the-minute tracks and has put out a song that is reminiscent of a Nelly electronic dance remix. I like this one especially because it reminds me of something you’d hear at the water park- just that soft beat that keeps on.

Go on and Puzzle my Puzzler Sore. Chris Brown with a listenable song- who woulda guessed? Maybe there’s still hope for that talented voice. The album comes out June 3, 2008.
