Cascada – What Hurts The Most

Cascada is back with another song that radio won’t play. If you’re heard the original from Rascal Flatts, this one probably won’t live up to your expectations. The song isn’t terrible, but again, like her past three, it doesn’t live up to what made her multi-platinum in the first place. All it sounds like is the same pounding beat with the same instruments we’ve heard in three of her songs already. And she had so much potential. I think that if she really wanted to (and for crying out loud, stopped singing other people’s songs) she could certainly put out another hit.
It’s Cascada with What Hurts The Most.
Added November 27 – I actually like it slightly if I listen to it enough. Maybe it’ll grow on me…but she can still do better.
Added December 3 2007 – For all you Cascada fans, here’s the track listing from the upcoming album Perfect Day:
- “What Hurts the Most”
- “Runaway”
- “Who Do You Think You Are”
- “Because the Night”
- “I Will Believe It”
- “Perfect Day”
- “What Do You Want From Me”
- “Sk8er Boi”
- “Could It Be You”
- “He’s All That”
- “Just Like a Pill”
- “Endless Summer”
- “What Hurts the Most [Yanou's Candlelight Mix]“
Sk8tr Boi will be the most interesting to hear, since it is obviously the first remake of the Avril Lavigne song. Just Like A Pill was from Pink. And with Yanou doing another Candlelight Mix like he (or she?) did for DJ Sammy, this will be worth looking into.
